Medical Program

The Medical Program, is established as a ministry for outreach medical brigades to provide financial support and medical care to people of low-income families from cities, city suburbs, neighborhoods, as well as surrounding small villages. The Benefactor Bethesda Mission Clinic and the San Cosme Medical Clinic administrates inexpensive medical attention to people that are brought in to receive care. Through Mayan/Mexican staffs of nurses and doctors; general practitioners, maternal care and pediatrics, and additional specialized doctors in particular expertise of medical problems are brought in for consultations and treatments.

Come and See Missions, Medical Program make it possible for teams of doctors and nurses from the United States and Mexico, who donated a week's time, to visit these Clinics and care for low-income families from remote areas, where doctors are rare. Often families must leave their homes to be administered the medical attention and care they cannot afford. Most of them speak Maya; therefore a team of Maya/Spanish/English translators are needed. Each brigade provides the medical supplies, equipment and medicines for the week, as well as the necessary professional staff.
